Chelllllllo. It’s time to gather ‘round the (metaphorical) campfire, my pretties: Big Pumpkin has won, October’s almost over, and the veil IS thin. Even *I* have found myself wistful for the witches of Salem this year, despite being a long-suffering alumna of the Internet Witchcraft Economy.
Before we get to this month’s literary lanterns (a few fittingly eerie reads for the season), let’s take a quick jaunt through the cursed corridors of my brain.
As per my last telepathic assault on your mind, I’m aware that the last few newsies have been more doom-and-gloom than not. It’s been brought to my attention that I’ve come down with a touch of fatalism, necessitated by a too tightly tethered—while also entirely untethered—grip on reality.
